Location: Backwater Leisure Centre, Park Drive, Maldon, Essex CM9 5UR
The all england judo federation national grading will take place on Sunday 11th March 2012, venue to be advised.
This grading is open to Juniors Orange +3 Green and above and Seniors Orange and above.
Licenses must be valid and presented on the day
Juniors 10am to 12:30
Seniors 1pm to 3pm
Cost for Kyu grades £5
1st Dan to 2nd Dan £10
2nd Dan and above £15

New Judo Mats
|
After a lot of events and fundraising, We have nearly enough finds to purchase new Judo Mats, a very generous offer from one of our parents will allow us to have all the funds very soon.
What the club now needs is somewhere to store our old mats until they can be sold, If anyone has any storage we could use for a short while, could you please speak to either Kate or Georgi. |

(Club funds will subsidize mersea members by £5.00)

a non returnable deposit of £30 must be paid by Friday 18th March 2011

Mersea Judo club hopes to raise enough money to purchase a brand new set of judo mats
|
at a cost of appox £4000, our existing mats are very old and VERY heavy!! our new ones will be much lighter and link together like a jigsaw, which also means gaps don't appear, this amount of money will mean lots of fundraising and generousitity from local businesses, firstly any profits from our new judo kit will go into the fund ( so it would be great if lots of children and parents can buy something, also we will look great at comp's & grading!!). also one of our parents Mr Gary Spiers is taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 22nd May 2011. He is going to run on behalf of 308 (Colchester) sqn Air Training corps. And Mersea Island judo club. Any one wishing to sponsor should e-mail us at
